May 1 is International Workers' Day. Observe the day and remember the martyrs of the Haymarket massacre.
Update:
Troy Davis writes: Later in the day, I went to Wal-Mart (Normally, I don't go to Wal-Mart because of their abysmal labor practices but a friend had me pick up something that I couldn't get anywhere else). I wished the cashier a happy International Workers' Day and joked that the Walton family probably doesn't approve of the day. She told me that when she was hired that she was told that she would be fired on the spot if she even mentioned the word "union."
