In my review of Dinesh D'Souza's film Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, I mentioned that a graphic in the film of notorious Confederate war criminal and KKK founder Nathan Bedford Forrest looked a lot like the graphic of him on the cover of H.W. Crocker's recent book The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Civil War. I noted the irony of this because in the film, Forrest's image was used to represent what the Democratic Party stands for. I mentioned that Crocker's book, which is Lost Cause propaganda that reveres Forrest, was published by the leading conservative/Republican publishing house Regnery Publishing and that the book was used as a free gift to new subscribers to Human Events (which was one of Ronald Reagan's favorite newspapers).
Imagine my surprise to find out that the book form of Hillary's America is published by Regnery. Not only does Regnery publish pro-Confederate bitter-ender material like Crocker's book, it published other pro-Confederate bilge such as Clint Johnson's The Politically Incorrect Guide to the South which claims that tariff policy, not slavery, was the main reason for the Civil War.
